Amway Global Re-Design
The goal of the new Amway Global was to create a hub for all Amway corporate communications while guiding users to market sites and increasing brand loyalty and advocacy.
Page Strategy & Sitemap
I joined the project after basic page strategies were created. Those page strategies started shaping the site-map, the basic structure of the site.
Once we had alignment on the site-map, I started sketching. I created sharpie & Copic marker wireframes, which were high enough fidelity to review with the client. The wireframes helped us gain alignment on content priority and page structure.
Concepting & Iterating
After the wireframes were approved, I moved into concepting. My concepting Sketch files look pretty messy, with tons of duplicate artboards to help flesh out ideas and iterate on UI elements.
Once the concept was approved, I started to flesh out all the different pages. Since Amway is such a large organization, each page had different key stakeholders to review and approve. We had about 5-6 weeks of Friday reviews with different stakeholders at Amway.
Another large component of this project was ADA Compliance. Amway was very sensative about ADA compliance, and we had to work with them to tweak some of their brand colors so they would be compliant on the web.
After our team at Mighty had worked on the project for over a year, the site finally launched! The success & launch of Amway Global wouldn't have happened without Danielle, our project manager, and the collaboration of our entire project team. Check out the live site!
